Kath Sutton - Veterinary Surgeon
Kath Sutton BVSc MA MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

Kath comes from Pembrokeshire and has worked here as a vet for...30 years! Kath works part-time due to family and farm commitments and has until recently worked mainly at our St.Davids and Fishguard branches.

Kath enjoys contact with clients and their lovely animals and over the years has gained many friends through her work. Kath states “I probably enjoy getting to know the animals more than they enjoy getting to know me!” At Fishguard Kath is involved with our rehabilitation and physiotherapy unit. Her interests are with medicine rather than surgery and particularly keeping our elderly pets happy and comfortable.

When not vetting, Kath is in charge of her small farm:- Dexter cattle (small cows for a small animal vet!),  mixed breed sheep, 3 chickens, some ducks and 2 horses - plus a husband and 2 adult children (they would agree with that order of priority). Kath enjoys horse riding and also rowing Cornish Pilot Gigs. She also attempts to keep the weeds under control in her borders and veg garden! Fortunately there is then little time left for housework.
