Maddie graduated from Writtle University College, Essex with an Integrated Master's in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2019 after studying for 4 years. This allowed her to enter the NAVP (National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists) and RAMP (Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners).

As well as her work with The Oak, Maddie also works as a self-employed veterinary physiotherapist treating dogs and horses in Pembrokeshire and the surrounding counties. Maddie is very passionate about raising the awareness of the importance of physiotherapy for animals, and says there is no better feeling than helping an animal to feel more comfortable and mobile, and to aid the return to optimum health following injury or surgery.

Most of her spare time is spent with her own animals, Denzel the dog, George the Highland horse and little Dylan, the Section A companion pony. You'll mostly find Maddie out in the Preseli Hills riding George with Denzel up front!
